Daughter of George Aaron and Azuba Boyden (Fales) Tufts.

She was married first to Henry S. Wheaton, in 1843 in Dudley, MA. Mr. Wheaton was a lawyer, b. about 1822 in MA; he was a graduate of Brown University. It appears that they were divorced at sometime, and he died in Todd's Valley, California, 8 Dec 1862, according to a report in the " Boston Traveler," 27 Jan 1863.

On 26 April 1853 in Boston, MA, she married Francis H. Dewey.
Age 81 years, 6 months, 24 days.
