Vance came back and started moving around again. He worked for several Copper Mines in Arizona and finally retired in the early 1970's from Kennecott Copper as a mechanic and retired to Apache Junction, Az.
Vance loved to hunt and fish in his early years. He loved to bowl. His Brother Aaron A. Bruce lived next door to him in Apache, Junction and they both shared a garden between their two trailers. He pasted away in 1979 from Brain Cancer. He was only 68 years old.
