Janet Webb Bradley, 57, of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, May 15. A lover of family and of life, and teacher of the same, she touched the lives of everyone she knew and even many she didn't. She was a born teacher, as passionate about education as she was about her student's lives.
She received her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi and was a National Board Certified Teacher. After retiring, she volunteered her time and talents helping and teaching other teachers, most recently at Bayou View Elementary. As an adult, she discovered her talent and love of painting and she shared her gift with friends and family, brightening their lives and homes with thoughtful personal gifts
She was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a grandmother. She was a friend to so many and an inspiration to countless others. She was brave and strong and she loved fiercely. She spent her life caring for others, always finding an opportunity to support and love people exactly when they needed it most. She never lost sight of what was important to her in life – her family and loved ones.
