Obit of Louise Clark Fort: Monday morning June 1, 1970, at a local infirmary. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Fort Linton; sons; Rufus E. Fort, Jr., Dudley Clark Fort; Dr. Garth Edmund Fort and grandchildren, Mrs. Livingfield More, Mrs. Terence Neil Fails, Mrs. John Jay Hooker, Jr., Mrs. Gilbert S. Merritt, Jr., Dr. Dudley Clark Fort, Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio, Arthur Godfrey Fort, II, Mrs. Richard W. Lenderman, Jr., Miss Julia Warfield Fort, Garth Frierson Fort, Columbia, Tenn., Christopher Lawrence Fort, Miss Leontine Fort Linton, Miss Cornelia Fort Linton; and twelve great grandchildren. Her remains are at the residence of her son, Rufus E. Fort, Jr., "Raajel", Jackson Blvd. Funeral from Christ Episcopal Church tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. John Lane Denson and the Rev. Paschall Davis. Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers: Dr. Dudley Clark Fort, Jr., Arthur Godfrey Fort, II, Garth Frierson Fort, Christopher Lawrence Fort, Macrae Fort Linton, Livingfield More, Richard W. Lenderman, Jr., Terence Neil Fails, John J. Hooker, Jr., and Gilbert S. Merritt, Jr. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Christ Episcopal Church, Tennessee Botanical Gardens and Fine Arts Center, Old Woman's Home or the Children's Museum. Finly Dorris & Charlton.
