Steve H. Horn, 70, 108 1/2 S. Jefferson St., died at Ball Memorial Hospital early Sunday morning following an extended illness. He was born in Harrison, Ohio, but spent most of his life in this community. He was associated with his father, Lawrence Horn, in the shoe repair business for many years, and also owned and operated his own shop until a few years ago.
Mr. Horn was a 25-year member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges.
Surviving are his wife, Stella; a sister, Mrs. Grace Bailey, Muncie; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Helen Fisher, Orlando, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Arthur McDavitt officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 p.m. Monday.
