"RAVENWOOD, Mo. -- Chalmer C. Loomis, Sr., 75, died Sunday morning at a North Kansas City hospital. He was a former resident of Ravenwood and a retired employee of Columbia Steel, Inc., Kansas City.
Mr. Loomis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vermont Loomis of the home; two sons, Chalmer C. Loomis, Jr., of Agency and Lee B. Loomis of Ravenwood; a daughter, Mrs. George Harris of Kansas City; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Bethany Baptist Church, North Kansas City. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, where graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m." St Joseph Gazette, September 25, 1967
