MRS. JENSEN, 83, SUCCUMBS
WIDOW OF "PAINTER" JENSEN DIES; DANISH NATIVE, HERE AS YOUNG WOMAN
Burial was in Blair Cemetery Saturday for Mrs. Elizabeth Jensen, 83, widow of the late Chris (Painter) Jensen of Blair. She died suddently in Lincoln at the home of her son, Anton, with whom she had lived since 1923.
Mrs. Jensen was born May 24, 1866, near Ribe, Denmark, but came to America as a young woman and attended Dana College. The couple lived in Chicago for a time before coming to Blair, where Mr. Jensen died in July, 1929.
Surviving the aged ex-Blairite are two sons, Anton of Lincoln, and Fred, head of the Department of Chemistry at Texas A. & M. College; and a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Eckley of Los Angeles.
