Myrtle was the daughter of William Davis Calfee and Mary Frances Bailey. She was the third wife of Dr. Allen Harrison Carr. He married first wife, Mittie A. Allen in Botetourt Co., VA on October 26, 1875. He was living with his parents when the 1880 Census was taken on June 15, 1880, and he was listed as a widower.
