Joseph J. Havel
Joseph J. Havel, son of Joseph and Josephine Havel, was born on a farm near Cuba, Kan., June 20, 1959, at the age of 79 years, two months, and 22 days.
He became a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge at the age of 24 years which he was a member for 55 years.
He was united in marriage to Mary Shema, October 4, 1904, and moved to a farm near Agenda, Kan. To this union were born two sons, William of Salina, Kan., and Lawrence of Cuba, Kan.
He leaves to mourn his wife, two sons, two grandsons and two great-granddaughters, three brothers, three sisters, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held at the Cuba Presbyterian church with the Rev. Victor V. Victoria officiating. Burial was in National Bohemian Cemetery.
