Dorothy Mae Albright, 88, died at Duff's Friendship Villa in Nebraska City on May 2, 2013. She was born May 1, 1925 in Lincoln to Wilhelm Gotlieb and Lucille (Gibbs) Wenninger. She married Kenneth Albright June 16, 1944 at Humboldt.

She is survived by son Rev. Jerry Albright and his wife, Valerie, of Nebraska City; daughter Marvel Kay Snyder and husband Wesley of Lincoln; grandchildren Geoffrey Albright, Jonathan Albright, Kaylynn Snyder and Kristion Snyder; great grandchild Serina Plympton; sister Sharon Kuehn and husband Gary of Lincoln; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by her husband Feb. 4, 1991 and brother Lawrence Ritenour.

She worked as a licensed practical nurse in private duty nursing and then at the Lincoln Regional Center for several years prior to retirement.

She lived in Humboldt and Lincoln before moving to Nebraska City in 2003.

She was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic, Rebecca Lodge, LPN Association, East Lincoln Christian Church, Bethany Christian Church and Great Plains Aquarium Society.

Dorothy collected cook books, menus and rocks. She studied geology and loved classical music. Dorothy always enjoyed vacation trips with her family.

Funeral services were Monday, May 6, at Marshall Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rodger Good officiating.

Interment was at Humboldt Cemetery in Humboldt.

Pallbearers were Wesley Snyder, Gary Kuehn, Raymond Kuehn, Jonathan Albright, Geoffrey Albright, and Kristion Snyder.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
