SOUTH BEND - Irene M. Garrett, 96, formerly of South Bend, IN., passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Terraces of Los Gatos in Los Gatos, CA. Irene was born on February 7, 1917 in Winamac, IN., to Alva G. and Clara M. (Fritz) Artist.

Irene is survived by her two daughters, Sharon L. Kimble of San Jose, CA, and Joyce I. (Edward) Kennedy of Santa Cruz, CA; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three sisters-in- laws, Helen Rudolph, Bonnie Harris and Eileen Garrett.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in April of 2000 and a sister, Ethel Hall in 2008.
