Mrs Eliza Crews whose home has been in Alderson for a number of years died at that place Monday afternoon of this week, following a stroke of paralysis.
Mrs Crews was the mother of Dr A W Crews, of Thurmond and of Mrs J W Haynes of Alderson. She also leaves other children. She moved to Alderson about fifteen years ago from Rock Camp. The last winter was spent in Florida where she went for the benefit of her health. Burial will be made in the Alderson cemetery.
