Mildred Kornegay Ratliff of Marks, 77, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at her home of heart failure.
Services were Friday, January 9, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Marks with burial in the Lambert Cemetery. The Rev. James Tidwell officiated. Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks had charge.
Born in Crowder on August 28, 1931, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Marks.
She is survived by a son, Herbert Ratliff, Jr. of Parsons, TN; two daughters, Mistie Stanley (Danny) and Melinda Long (Ottis, Jr.), both of Marks; six grandchildren, Herbert Joshua Ratliff, Magaen Gordon, Jessica Stanley, Christen Stanley, Ashley Long, and Kyle Long; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Sartin Long and Nolan Long.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Village at Jackson or a charity of the donor's choice.
