January 13, 2006 Delton Caraway Jr., 51, of Liverpool, passed away Friday at University Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Liverpool most of his life. He was a graduate of Liverpool High School, received his bachelor's degree from Os-wego State andhis master's degree from Chapman University. He worked at Carrier for 17 years prior to working as a buyer for Hanford Pharmaceuticals in Syracuse the last two years. Del loved traveling and golf. Mostly, he was a devoted father and avid spectator at every event his children were involved in. He was predeceased by his daughter, Rebecca Caraway, and father, Delton Caraway Sr. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, the former Virginia Cincotta, and three sons, Del, Brian and Tom Caraway, all of Liverpool; his mother, Frances Caraway of Liverpool; two brothers, Dr. David L. Caraway of Palmyra, VA, and Daniel L. Caraway of Barboursville, WV; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Belle Isle Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Virginia Caraway, 7369 Palomino Path, Liverpool, NY 13088 for a scholarship to be set up for their children.
