Elizabeth Arnold "Lizzie" Pittman, a loving mother and homemaker, died at 4:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at The Retirement Center in Baton Rouge. She was 79 and a resident of Watson.
Visiting at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Denham Springs, until religious service, conducted by Mike Craig. Entombment in Amite Baptist Church Cemetery, Denham Springs. Arrangements by Renaissance Services, Gonzales.
Survived by daughters, Brenda Kay Allen, Clinton, Kim P. Pamplin, Bagwood, and Karla P. David, Livingston; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Pittman; father and mother, James Ervin Arnold and Annie Arnold; four brothers, John Arnold, Robert Arnold, Jay Arnold and George Arnold; and three sisters, Edna Day, Irene Cobb and Monell Snoddy.
Lizzie graduated from Gilbert High School and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening.
