Lois K. Setzler was born December 5, 1924 at Clearfield, Iowa to John and Zeta Hidlay Kay. She passed away December 20, 1997 at Palmdale, California.
Lois attended school in Clearfield and graduated there in 1942. After graduation she joined her mother and sister in Santa Ana, California where she was employed at the Naval Air Base. Lois married Eugene T. (Dick) Setzler in 1944. She retired from Lockheed in Palmdale. She was looking forward to seeing her old friends again at their 60th reunion.
Left to mourn her passing are her mother, Zeta Chambers of Hemet, California, and children Richard of Hemet, California, James of Palmdale, California, Janet (Tom) Backe, Lake Los Angeles, California, six grandchildren, three nephews and families, a sister, Leah (Jesse) Dohm, of Hemet, California, stepbrother, Leon (Myrna) Chambers, Hampton, Virginia and cousin Pearl Lee (Lyle) Shrimpton of Atlantic, Iowa.
