Richard Bunty, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away April 12, 2013. He was born Sept. 18, 1928, to Paul and Edith Bunty in Hanover, Pa. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated several automotive service stations in Las Vegas over the years, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed offroad racing, both motorcycles and buggies, and boating at Lake Mead. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Bunty. He is survived by his brother, Bob; his sister, Shirley; daughters, Susan, Sarah and Sandra; his sons, Richard, Robert and James; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. At his request, he will be cremated and no services will be held. Burial will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
