Locke was a medalist on the U.S. Basketball Squad at the 1955 Second Pan American Games. The men's basketball tournament was held from March 13 to March 24, 1955 in Mexico City, Mexico. The U.S. took home their second Gold Medal and title with a 4-1 record (see photo).
