In January 1923, Louise married her first cousin George Henry Beckett. The newlyweds moved to the U. S. A. shortly afterwards, where several of George's siblings had emigrated to. They lived at 2998 Townsend Avenue during their time here. Their children Doug, Richard, and Sylvia were born here.
In London, Louise and George had their last child, a very sickly child named Ernie. He never left the hospital due to his illnesses and died while a toddler in 1937.
They all later settled in the Chicago area.
