The remains of Mrs. Lydia Lappin are being buried at Thomason cemetery. She died at her daughter's, Mrs. Lillian Withrow, house in Poplar Bluff, Missouri January 25. Her grandson, Charles McRill, came with the body.
[Note: Lydia was married to Robert Lappin, who died in 1892. They had at least 10 children, six girls and four boys; Mary Bell, Francis D., Milton Cooper, Rosella Alice, William E., Ollie M., Everett H., Della F., Lillian Grace and Fredrick Mark. Her death certificate did not name her parents, but one family file on ancestry.com names them as Johann Frederick and Elizabeth (Luellen) Slusher.]
