The Janesville Daily Gazette Wednesday Nov 9, 1921 Duluth — Believed to have been mistaken for a deer. Noah Boyer, 43 a locomotive engineer of Proctor, was found in the woods near White Pace, 50 miles north of here, shot to death. He had left his home to go on a hunting. It was the first casualty of the hunting season in the vicinity.
