Editor's note: Clara Jane Purdy, French, Ellsworth, Purdy was MY grandmother. She lived a full, fruitful and enjoyable life. No one can deny that everybody who knew her, loved her deeply. I can remember a school teacher of mine -- way back when I was a 'kid' -- who said I looked a lot like her. That comment came only after I'd made the comment that I thought she "looked like a monkey". Regardless of what I or anybody thought she looked like -- we all loved grandma -- and, we'll miss her. ---GBC.
