ACKERSON SCOTT ACKERSON Scott Ackerson, 35, of Fairfax, VA died on Saturday, August 1, 2009 in Fairfax.

Scott was born November 19, 1973 in Washington, DC. For the past 14 years he has been living in a group home run by Community Living Alternatives. Scott loved working at Central Fairfax Services as a paper shredder.

Scott is survived by his beloved mother, Barbara Ackerson of Lansdowne, VA; father, Guy Ackerson of Mt. Jackson, VA; sister, Susan Dortch of Pleasant Grove, UT; brother, Chuck Ackerson of Preston, MD and his paternal grandmother, Helen Ackerson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Saint David''s Episcopal Church, 43600 Russell Branch Parkway, Ashburn, VA with Rev. Mary Kay Brown officiating.
