Epitaph: Remains moved to Rose Hill Cemetery, Columbia, TN about 1859

As a young man on the Eastern Shores of Maryland, Adam served as a lookout during the Revolutionary War.
He was an officer in the War of 1812, raising troupes from around Liberty, Tennessee and serving with General Andrew Jackson.

Gravesite Details

Adam Dale died in Hazel Green, AL and was interred in the Jeffries Cemetery. His wife Mary Polly moved to Columbia, TN. She died 10 Mar 1859 and was burried at Rose Hill Cemetery. Adam Dale's body was then moved to Rose Hill beside her.
