Burial was in Elmore City Cemetery under direction of Vaughn Funeral Home. She died in Oklahoma City on Sunday morning. She was born Oct 10, 1890 near McKinney Texas and moved to Garvin County in 1939. She lived around Foster and Elmore City until 1945 when she moved to OKC where she lived until her death. Survivors include her husband, Sam Garner, two sons, J.C. and Joe Paul Garner, both of OKC, two daughters, Hazel Thompson and Velma Shirley, both of OKC, one sister, Pearl Rouse Saunders Wauls of Davis, one brother, Charles Rouse of Sacramento, California, nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
