---Married my Great Grandfather, Nicholas Joseph Doyle in 1899 and stayed married to him unitl her death in 1962.

DOYLE--On Tuesday, October 23, 1962 at 3:15 am, at the residence, 2019 Gen. Taylor, Mrs. Caroline Doyle, wife of the late Rev. Nicholas Doyle Sr.,: mother of Mrs. Louise Jackson, Mrs. Carolyn brown, J.C. Doyle of Oakland, CA., Timothy Doyle of Norco, LA., Albert Bell of Cut Off, LA., William, Morris, Joseph, Herbert, Isaac and Solomon Doyle of this city: sister of Mrs. Martha Taylor, Mrs. Ada Bell, mother in law of Robert Jackson and Harry Brown: aunt of Mrs. Thelma and Emily Porter, Mrs. Helen Brooks and Alma Mitchell of Houston, TX: deceased also survived by 33 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and members of Law Street, Greater St. Stephen's, New St. Luke, Progressive, Triumph, Mt. Carmel, Carver Desire, Evergreen, Mt. Moriah Baptist churches of New Orleans, LA and Evergreen Baptist church of Oakland, CA., St. Matthew's Baptist church of New Sarpy, LA., president, officers and members of Law Height Benevolent Association. Nurses and aides of Sara Mayo, Flint-Goodridge and Charity hospital. Nurses Association of LA, employees of American Cyanamid, Louisiana Garment, Flint-Kote, employees of Port of Embarkation are invited to attend the funeral.
Services from Law Street Baptist church, 3132 Law St., on Saturday, October 27, 1962 at 1200 noon, Rev. E.D. Scott officiating.
Interment in Lafayette cemetery. Wake Services on Friday, Oct 26, 1962, at 1pm at Law St Baptist church.

Sadly missed by two sons Mr Herbert and Isaac Doyle.1 daughter Mrs.Carolyn Brown. 1. Son in law Harry Brown. 24 grandchildren. 49 Great grandchildren. 19 Great, great grandchildren.
