Funeral services for Ferris Monsour, 51, of 1603 Division Avenue, who died at his residence Sunday night after a brief illness, will be held at St. John's Catholic Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. John Buckley officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of McCook Brothers funeral home. Mr. Monsour was born in Syria in 1883 and came to Shreveport at the age of 12. Surviving the deceased besides his widow are two daughters, Margaret and Beatrice, and one brother, M. Monsour of Shreveport.
