HAMILTON - Carlos Williams, 90, Hamilton, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center - Hamilton.
Born on May 10, 1915, in Marion County, he was the son of the late William Lee and Samantha Avery Williams. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Sullins Williams.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 5, 2006 from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the New Hope Cemetery. Elvis Cochran was the officiating minister. Survivors include his children: Joyce (Willard) Roberts, R.C. (Joyce) Williams, Ethelene (Elvis) Carter, Benny (Gayl) Williams, and Mike (Jan) Williams, all of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister Annie Bell Cromer, Water Vilet, Michigan.
