a findagrave visitor provided this info: "Jacob Armfield Brown was born in Surry North Carolina on 17 mar 1809. If you subtract from his tombstone this is the date you get. Eample.. date of death is 2 Apr 1875....says he was aged 66 years and 17 days... subtract 66 from 1875 is 1809 then just subtract 17 days from april or easier make it 31 of march and count 15 backwards. Sorry if this is an imposition."
