Twila Emma Marie Enget (89) was the third of four children born to Otto Matteus Carlson (Swedish immigrant) and Mabel Viola Hjort. She was reared and educated in Kandiyohi Township and attended country school which was located just at the end of the driveway to her parents farm. She was a school teacher at the Kandiyohi Township school.

On August 2, 1946, she married Avery Gordon Enget at the Niobe Baptist Church. They moved to Kenmare in 1951, where Avery began employment with Moen Ford Motors and Peterson Chevrolet. In 1967, they moved to Minot where he was employed in the parts department at Westlie Motor Company until he retired in 1985. They continued to live in Minot until 1989 when they returned to Powers Lake.

Twila was a member and actively involved at First Baptist Church of Kenmare, Immanuel Baptist Church of Minot and Bethel Baptist Church of Powers Lake.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto M. Carlson and Mabel Hjort, her husband Avery, and her three brothers, Raymond, Russell and James (Bud) Carlson.
