A private family memorial for Macx Allen Buck, was held Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his home in Skiatook.

Macx Allen Buck, age 66, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his home. Macx was born, June 19, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to Macx Burdette and Mary Louise (Murchison) Buck.

He grew up and received his education in Climax, Colorado, Leadville, Colorado and Buena Vista, Colorado. He graduated from Buena Vista in 1964. He married Annah Mae Marshall on May 4, 1968 in Leadville, Colorado. They made their home in Leadville and Buena Vista until 1984 when they moved to Skiatook, Oklahoma. While in Colorado Macx worked as a miner at the Climax Molybdenum Company and was part-owner of Perizzite Firewood Company. After moving to Skiatook in 1984, he moved into a career in information technology and worked as a computer application developer until he retired in 2007.

Macx was preceded in death by his wife: Annah Buck, his father and mother: Macx B. and Mary Buck and by one brother: John Buck.

Macx is survived by two daughters; son-in-law; two brothers; granddaughter; and grandson.

Cremation services were under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
