DAVENPORT - Elnor Haskins, of Davenport, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2004, at her home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 21, at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or King's Daughters. Elnor was born May 12, 1914, in rural Scott County, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Dora (Schwien) Meinert. She was united in marriage to Leonard Haskins on Sept. 6, 1936, in Rock Island, Ill. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1993. Prior to her retirement she was a Floral Designer for over 20 years for Rose Glen Florist. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Quota Club, both in Davenport, and King's Daughters, Silver Cross Circle. Elnor is survived by three grandchildren, Debbie Ramirez and Doug Haskins, both of Davenport, and Dave Haskins, Eldridge, Iowa; seven great-grandchildren, Ryan, Michael and Samantha Ramirez, Brenna Haskins and Justin, Christine and Jessica Haskins; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Richard Lee Haskins and Leonard R. Haskins Jr., and a sister, Marian Henson.
