Frederick Burgoyne Haight, Sr.
Frederick Haight, Sr., 88, passed away on April 21, 1996 at Hartwood, Virginia.
Born on September 5, 1907, he was an East Kern resident for the last 44 years, living near North Edwards. Before retiring, he was a department head for the Department of Defense at Edwards AFB.
He will be remembered as a kind and loving father, a person who loved the outdoors and natural settings and who had a genuine interest in local, national and world affairs.
Frederick B. Haight is survived by his son, Fred Haight, Jr., of North Edwards; by his three daughters, Arvada L. Haight of Newport Beach, Ruth Carlone of Hartwood, Virginia and Lenore McLeod of Los Angeles; by his stepson, Thomas A. Beck of Denver, Colorado; and by his six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at the East Kern Cemetery in Mojave.
