Opal Gennett Fields Cole, 76, widow of James Monroe Cole formerly of Belton died Monday, April 01, 2013 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late John Vernon and Euzelia Cooley Fields. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Special thank you to the staff of North Pointe Assisted Living for their loving care.
Surviving are: sisters, Sybileen Branyon and husband Johnny of Honea Path, Johnnie McMahan of Belton and Janice Torchia of Anderson; special brother in law, Patrick Torchia; nephew, Dean Branyon and wife Tonya of Abbeville; nieces, Karen Ellis of Honea Path and Vanessa Torchia of Anderson; 8 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her niece, Ansley Mace.
Service will be held 3pm Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carroll Plemmons, Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2pm until 2:45pm at Cox Funeral Home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
