Christine T. Franklin was born to the late, Fletcher Taylor and Helen Lott Brown on March 21, 1941, in Alabama. She confessed Christ at an early age, uniting with Pilgrim Rest A. M. E Zion Church in Whistler, Alabama. She retired from Scott Paper Company after 31 years.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Wendell S. Franklin, Sr., and to this union, two children were born.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Wendell S. Franklin, Sr., of Prichard, AL; one daughter, Tracey Franklin Turner (Derrick) of Daphne, AL; one son, Wendell S. Franklin, Jr., of Prichard, AL; one sister, Joann Shaw of Mobile, AL; and two brothers, Johnnie Brown of Mobile, AL; and Wiley Brown, Jr., of Whistler, AL; one aunt, Gertrude Miller of Mobile, AL; one uncle, Clarence Lott of Houma, LA; one adopted daughter, Frances Smith, Whistler, AL; one Godchild, Tameka Lynch, Mobile, AL; thirteen brother and sisters-in-law, Ursula Swann, Regina Knight, Jacqueline (Alfred) Arnold, Earline (Clarence) Davis, Jule (Margret) Franklin, Johnnie Franklin, Mobile, AL; Senoula Franklin, San Francisco, CA; Mary Franklin, Roswell, NM; Delores (Vernon) Adams, Granite Bay, CA and Thomasine Franklin of Eight Mile, AL.
