KEWANEE - Wilna L. LaRue, 88, of Kewanee died at 12:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Oakwood Health Care Center.
Born Oct. 2, 1911, in Galva to Clark R. and Nellie J. Becklean Smith, she married William W. LaRue II on March 1, 1930, in Galesburg. He died Oct. 2, 1994.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Raimasson, and two brothers.
Surviving are two sons, William III of Boston and Gary (and Pat) of North Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Jon (Marlene) Clayton and Mrs. Cleo (Jeanneane) Nance, both of Kewanee; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Raimasson Smith of Galva.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Carter Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
