Mrs. Judy T. Miller was born Jan. 25, 1830, died May 25, 1901, aged 71 years and four months.
In early life she united with the M. E. church at Franklin and remained a member until her removal to Waverly when she again united with the Apple Creek Baptist church where she remained a consistent member until her death which occurred last Saturday, May 25, caused by heart trouble. In 1871 she was united in marriage to Jno. W. Miller and after his death she had made her home with her son, Mr. J. W. Short, southwest of this city. She leaves to mourn her loss a number of relatives besides a host of friends and neighbors. The funeral was held at the brick church at 10:00 a.m., Sunday morning and was preached by the Rev. Geo. Hart. Interment in East cemetery.
