Betty Jo is the daughter of Larkin Steven Tucker and his wife Jimmie Oden 'Farrar' Tucker. From her marriage to James Futral, Betty Jo is the mother of B. Annette, James W. JR., and Gloria Futral (all of her children are from this marriage.) Betty Jo was married three times Futral /Sports /Skinner; however at the time of her death, Betty Jo was not married.

History:
Betty Jo was fairly young when both of her parents passed away (her dad when she was 8, and her mom just days before her 14th birthday.) In 1934 however, when Betty Jo was around 12 years of age, it is believed that she left Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Washington D.C. (Washington D.C. is where she lived with her older sister Janie and family for several years); Washington, D.C. is also where she graduated from McKinley High School in June of 1940.

Following her graduation, Betty Jo once more returned to Alabama where she married her 1st husband James Warren Futral just days before the USA entered World War II (on December 5th, 1941 in Goodwater, Alabama - Rev. Bruce Finley performed the ceremony.) Betty Jo was known in her adult years as 'BJ' and her husband James as 'JW'. Also, through her mom Jimmie Oden 'Farrar' Tucker, Betty Jo is a direct descendant of Edward III, King of England.
