Thomas Benson Freeman, husband of Frances Bennet, dau of Ralph and Frances Bennet Freeman. Married January 1, 1599-1600, according to Oxfordshire Marriage List. Father of Henry, who died in infancy, according to Bensington Parish Registry, Bennet Freeman abt. 1613-1658, Robert Freeman, baptised 1612, Bensington Parish Registry, William Freeman, died in infancy by 1606, Elizabeth Freeman (Pethouse) baptised in 1608 and lived in Virginia in 1664, A son William (the second) was baptised in 1609, Bensington Parish Registry and remained in England through about 1680, and son John abt. 1624-1664, and Bridges Freeman, born abt. 1603, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England, and who migrated to the Virginia Colony, and was listed as a survivor of the 1623 Powhatan Indian Massacre. Bridges eventually became a plantation owner and a Burgess for House of Burgesses. A predeceasor, of some possible relation, a Thomas Freeman died in the 1623 Powhatan Virginia Massacre. 11xG grandfather, rest in peace.
