DIXON, Evelyn L 76, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born December 23, 1936 in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter Massie and Norma (Knisley) Phipps. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table drinking coffee and telling stories. Survivors include her nine children; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and numerous other family friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, William Neff; one brother, Clyde Massie and two grandchildren, April Markel and Charles "Tater" Farmer.
