Jeanne D'arc Annette Jean, 81, a resident of Clover Health Care, passed away January 29 at Hospice House. She resided at 47 Winn St. in Lewiston for 37 years. She was born in Manchester, NH on August 22, 1926 the youngest daughter of Hermingilde and Julia (Turcotte) St. Germain.

She attended Holy Family School. She worked at Clark Shoe, Peck's, Zayres and retired from St. Mary's hospital.
On November 22, 1949, she married Robert Laflamme. They were married 32 years. On July 31, 1996, she married Gerard P. Jean. She was so pleased and proud of having children and grandchildren. She was an avid watercolor artist. She volunteered at St. Mary's for many years. She was a member of Holy Cross Seniors and La Survivance Francaise. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved socializing with long time friends. Not having children of her own, she showered her loving affection to all the children with kisses, hugs and cheek pinching. Her pleasant smile, graciousness and kindness will be missed by her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Rhea Beliveau of Auburn, ME and Esther Kittridge of South Attleboro, MA. Sister-in-laws Yvette St. Germain of Auburn, Maria St. Germain of Cape Cod, MA. Brother-in-law Charles Donnell of Shalimar, FL. Her children and grandchildren in love, especially Marcel Morin, Gerard Jean Jr. and his wife Marilyn, Julius (Bud) Jean and wife Joanne., Louise Morin, Ronnie Morin, Denise Scammon, and Normand Morin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and especially her great great grand niece Lilly Mae Pelletier. Life long friends Cecile Blanchette, Rita Castonguay and Marie and Maurice Pelletier.
She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Laflamme, second husband
Gerard Jean by ten hours, parents Hermenegilde and Julia St. Germain, sisters and brothers Irene Gosselin, Jeannette Roy, Yvette Donnell, Armand, Theode and Roland St. Germain and daughter-in-love Constance Morin. What a wonderful heavenly reunion and celebration it will be when she is with her savior Jesus Christ and her loved ones who have gone to glory before her.
We would like to express a special thank you to everyone at The Hospital house for the special care and the special people at Clover Health Care who went above their calling to give her the attention and love that she loved and appreciated.
