Rev. Charlie Love

The Rev. Charlie Love, 91, of North Carrollton, died of complications from cancer/kidney failure Friday, June 20, 1997 at Grenada Lake Medical Center.

The Rev. Love was a retired Baptist minister. He was a member of Bear Marsh Baptist Church in Carrollton and was District Field Representative for Grenada District Ministerial Association. He was also a member of Automotive Mechanics Union Local Number 701 in Chicago.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28 at Bear Marsh Baptist Church in Carrollton with the Rev. C.E. Turner officiating. Interment was in Moss Springs Cemetery in Carroll County.

Rev. Love is survived by three sons, William Love and John Love, both of Chicago, Leon Love of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Orr of Mishawaka, Indiana, Miss Bernita Love of Chicago: one sister, Mrs. Willie Pearl Anderson of Carrollton; 21 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a niece who cared for him, Mrs. Martha W. Gomiller of North Carrollton.

Roberts & Sons Mortuary, Inc. of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
