Walter C. Newberry, 80, retired farmer and lifelong resident of Chadwick, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He is survived by four sons, Henry Newberry of Moline, Ill., Roy Newberry of Marshfield, Hesse Newberry of Cottonwood, Ariz, and Truman Newberry of Empire, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Opal Cobb, Topeka, Kan., Mrs. Edith Proctor, Springfield and Mrs. Mildred Rogers, Chadwick; one sister, Mrs. Shrinzda Rist, Springfield; and 31 grandchildren and several great granschildrne. Funeral services wiull be held at 2 p.m. today in Chadwick Baptist Church, with the Revs. Ivan Tatum and Roger T. Agee officiating. Burial will be in Chadwick Cemetery, under direction of Harris of Ozark.
