Larry was born in Lewiston, Ill., on June 13, 1933. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Larry moved his family to Texas in the early 1960s and lived in Fort Worth and surrounding counties for the last 50 years. He was retired from General Dynamics, but had a wide variety of occupations over his working career including corporate sales, manufacturing and owner of several small businesses. Larry worked most recently as a school bus driver in Aledo. Larry enjoyed a very out-going personality and never met a stranger. He followed sports of all kinds and enjoyed gardening and his dogs.
Larry is survived by his partner of many years, Elaine Johnson of Weatherford; he has a son, Mike Barclay of Fort Worth, wife, Hope and grandson, Nick; son, Larry G. Barclay of Burleson, wife, Karen and grandchildren, John and Betsy.
