Ruth O. Paddack, 97, Longtime Clinton County resident, died at 11:55 p.m. March 8, 2013, at Hope Hospice of North Fort Myers, Fla.

Born, January 31, 1916, in Clinton County, parents, Elmer and Minnie Marie (Scott) Warren. She married Guy 'Pat' Paddack on June 10, 1933, and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1989.

Mrs. Paddack was a graduate of Jackson Township High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She owned and operated the Jefferson Plaza Restaurant. She was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church and was the last surviving member of the Jackson Township Mother's Club. Ruth enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family and her cats.

Family: 2 Sons: Bill (Sandy) Paddack of North Fort Myers, Fla., Jack (Lynn) Paddack of Jefferson; 4 Grandchildren: Jim Paddack of North Fort Myers, Fla., Jacque Casey, Jon (Barb) Paddack and Jill Paddack, all of Clinton County. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Clayton and Chiara Morgan, Brittany Paddack and Jaclyn Bush.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at goodwinfuneralhome.com.
