Mrs. Homous died May 29 at the McLaughlin hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Homous was born Laura Elzada Arnold on July 17, 1888, at Chadron, Nebraska. She attended school at Fort Pierre, Evarts and Huron Academy.
Laura married Joseph M. Casady at Aberdeen, South Dakota, on July 27, 1906. To this union five children were born. Mr. & Mrs. Casady moved from Evarts to Lemmon in 1908 where they lived until Mr. Casady's death in 1928.
On June 5, 1935, she was married to Joseph Homous of Morristown. They made their home on a farm North of Morristown for a time, later moving to the home in Morristown.
Laura is survived by her husband, Joseph Homous, of Morristown; two sons, Woodrow A. Casady of Denver, Colorado and James R. Casady of Ganalda, Arizona; three daughters, Elaine Mills of Lola, Montana; Dorothy Williams of Stevensville, Montana; and Jane Church of Ft. Worth, Texas; She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Internment was in the Lemmon Cemetery.
