Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late O'Dell and Nettie Hayes Turner, Mrs. Loftis was a homemaker, a member of Glenwood Baptist Church, a member of the Chapter 54 Woodruff Order of Eastern Star and a wife of a State Manager of Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society for 35 years.
Surviving are three sons,Ray Loftis (Cathy) and Artie Loftis (Marian) , all of New York and Dennis Loftis (Gina) of Easley; one sister, Helen Hammond of Greenville; six grandchildren, Vanessa, Josh, Luke, Casie, Kym and Selena; and two great-grandsons, Travis and Bryar. Florence was a loving mother that will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the residence.
