Levi Wright, died at his home in Perry Township of a complication of diseases Wednesday, January 10, 1900, aged 67 years 0 months, 21 days. He was born and raised on Dunkard Creek and always lived in that section of country. He leaves a wife and three children, Simon, of Mt. Morris, McClelland and Landora of Worley, W.Va. and a host of other friends to mourn his death. We done all we could to restore him to health, but all in vain. Fatal diseases came on and on and he had to leave us for a brighter home beyond this vale of tears where parting, shedding of tears, sin and sorrow, pain and death can never be felt nor feared no more. His remains were taken to the family burying ground Thursday afternoon and laid to rest, there to await resurrection morn. He was a member of the Dolls Run Christian church. He was married twice in his lifetime, his first wife was the daughter of John Sine. His second wife who still survives him, was Miss Jane Barrickman who was born and raised near Cassville, W.Va.--Waynesburg Republican January 19, 1900
