Mr. G. W. Easterwood, age 68 years, died August 6th, at 3:09 P.M. at his residence, Cullman, Ala, R.F.D.5. Funeral services were held at the Hopewell Baptist Church August 7th., 1940 at 2:00 P.M., with interment in adjoining cemetery with Rev. Albet Crumley officiating.
Mr. Easterwood was survived by his wife; three sons, E.C. Easterwood, Cullman, Ala., R.F.D. 1; John H. and G.W. Easterwood, Cullman, Ala., R.F.D. 5; six daughters, Mrs. Bertha Sinils, Cullman, Ala., R.F.D. 7; Mrs. Lena Strickland, Rome, Georgia; Mrs. Thelma Gregg, Delta, Ala. and Lillian, Ruth and Kate Easterwood.
