Mrs. Hopkins died at the Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, where she and Mr. Hopkins had lived for three months. Funeral rites were held at the Methodist Home; Dr. L. S. Yoder of Huntington officiated, assisted by the Rev. D. C. Souders of Warren, and the Rev. C. L. Plank of Huntington.
Joy was survived by her husband; by both of her children; by one sister, Mrs. O. J. McCoy of High Point, North Carolina; one brother, Daniel Bechtel of California; and several grandchildren.
